WATCH: Couple marry in Zim hospital days after serious croc attack

A Zimbabwean woman got married in hospital this weekend – days after her arm was bitten off in a crocodile attack near Victoria Falls, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

Zanele Ndlovu, a former national tennis player, married Jamie Fox on Saturday in a chapel at Bulawayo’s Mater Dei hospital where she was treated for her injuries, reports the Sunday News.

“This has never happened before and it is quite exciting. You can tell people are all excited about this,” a hospital staffer told the paper.

Unions mull fresh wage offer as bus strike enters its fourth week

Satawu says unions are deliberating after the new proposal from the bargaining council and the CCMA and will consult members on Monday.

Transport unions are considering a new wage offer as the national bus strike enters its fourth week.

“The bargaining council and the CCMA [Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration] have put a proposal on the table of 8.75% for year one and 8.25% for year two. Unions are deliberating and will start consulting members [on Monday]‚” said Zanele Sabela‚ the spokeswoman for the South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (Satawu).

Mosimane Opens Up About Sundowns’ ‘Legacy’

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes CAF Champions League football is part of the club’s “legacy”, and says the team have to deal with the pressure that comes with it.

While the Brazilians’ 15 PSL rivals are preparing for the final league game of the campaign next weekend followed by a hard-earned break, Downs will again be working through the holiday period as they contest continental football.

Mcebisi Jonas joins the MTN board

The MTN Group has announced that Mcebisi Jonas and Bajabulile Tshabalala will join the company’s board as Independent Non-Executive Directors from June 1st, 2018.

Tshabalala is currently Executive Director of the consulting and investment holding firm, Barbican Advisory Group while Jonas was the former Deputy Finance Minister who served under both Nhlanhla Nene and Pravin Gordhan.
