Pocock to miss Wallabies’ Rugby Championship opener against Boks

Rugby Australia are taking no risks with veteran flanker David Pocock in a bid to ensure he is fit for the Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Pocock shelved the Super Rugby season, earlier this year, after aggravating a calf injury during a Wallabies training camp in January 2019.

Michael Cheika will name a 31-man squad for the trip to Ellis Park this week. The Wallabies leave for South Africa at the weekend, a week early, to endure a training camp at altitude prior to the opening week of Rugby Championship action.

The most beautiful road in South Africa

Chapman’s Peak Drive on the western side of the Cape Peninsula is a spectacular mountain road that hugs the almost vertical face of Chapman’s Peak between Hout Bay in the south and Noordhoek, in the north, near Cape Town, South Africa. Chapman’s Peak was named after John Chapman, the Captain’s mate of an English ship, who was sent to look for provisions to the shore in 1607. Old cars remodeled into contemporary furniture

A Nigerian-Ghanaian artist is redefining the furniture industry in Nigeria.

Experimental artist, Diseye Tantua is creating unconventional furniture using car parts from the ’90s.

A bed made from a Mercedez Benz 200 series among other projects can be found in his art studio in Port Harcout.

The 44-year-old, hopes his pieces will help preserve the history and memories that he believes are found in the pre-loved vehicles.

Relief for motorists as fuel price to drop for ‘first time in six months’

Cape Town – Motorists can expect a fuel price drop on Wednesday, the first in six months according to the Department of Energy. “On July 3, the price of 93 ULP petrol will drop by 96 cents a litre, while 95 ULP will cost 95 cents less a litre. “Diesel (0.05 percent sulphur) will decrease by 74.78 cents a litre and Diesel (0.005 percent sulphur) will cost 75.78 cents a litre less. “The price of paraffin will be reduced by 57 cents a litre.” The fuel price drop comes against a background of lower international oil prices throughout June.
