Telkom’s killer uncapped ADSL prices

Telkom’s new uncapped HOMEunlimited packages, which will replace its current Do Uncapped DSL and FTTH offerings, compare well against competing products.

Packages are available in 4Mbps, 10Mbps, 20Mbps, 40Mbps, and 100Mbps options, include line rental, on-network phone calls, and mobile data.

The free calls are valid for any number on Telkom’s fixed line and mobile networks, while the uncapped data is governed by a fair usage policy.

The KwaZulu-Natal government is planning to weld together two different organisations: one that was set up to protect animals from people, the other to protect people from animals. The working group was established in December 2016, and will work with private sector experts to monitor developments – with the aim of possibly regulating the industry.

“The position on virtual or cryptocurrencies is that they are currently not regulated – they [...]

Proteas make Test golden duck history

History was made at the end of the third Test between England and South Africa at The Oval in London on Monday.

England off-spinner Moeen Ali claimed a hat-trick to end the match and hand his side a crushing 239-run victory.

The Test was filled with historical significance – this was the 100th Test at The Oval – and saw Ali also create some of his own.

Ali’s was just the 14th England hat-trick at this level and the first in The Oval’s 127-year history as a Test venue.

From a South African perspective, the Proteas made their own bit of their own unwanted “history” by becoming the first team in Test history – in the 2 266th Test [...]
